1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Arqtec Brasil Pty
Ltd (we, us,
our) collects, uses and
discloses personal information when you use the
Arqtec I.A. website at heronaiapp.com (the
Site).
We handle personal information in accordance
with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the
Australian Privacy Principles
(APPs).
We collect personal information only when you
choose to give it to us.
Newsletter sign up. When you
subscribe to the Arqtec Brasil newsletter, we
collect:

your email address;

your subscription confirmation status (double
opt-in);

basic logs relating to your sign up and
confirmation, such as the date and time.
Double opt-in confirmation.
After you enter your email address, we send a
confirmation email to that address. Your
subscription is only activated once you confirm.
If you do not confirm, you will not receive the
newsletter.
We use your email address to:

send the Arqtec Brasil newsletter and related
updates;

manage your subscription preferences;

keep records demonstrating your consent and
meet our legal obligations, including under
the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).
4. Consent
We send marketing messages on the basis of your
consent. You can withdraw that consent at any
time by using the unsubscribe link in any
newsletter, or by emailing us at
hello@bear.plus. We will action unsubscribe requests within
five business days.
We do not sell your personal information.
We may disclose your email address to service
providers who help us operate the newsletter and
related systems. Those providers act on our
instructions, are required to protect your
information, and may only use it to provide
services to us.
6. Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers store or process
information outside Australia, including in the
United States and the European Union. Before
disclosing personal information overseas, we
take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient
handles it consistently with the APPs, as
required by APP 8.
If you confirm your subscription, we keep your
email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to
delete it. If you do not confirm, we may delete
your email address and related sign up logs
after a reasonable period.
8. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal
information from misuse, interference, loss, and
unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
No system is completely secure, and we cannot
guarantee the security of information
transmitted to us over the internet.
9. Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) you
may:

request access to the personal information we
hold about you (APP 12);

request correction of information that is
inaccurate, out of date, incomplete,
irrelevant or misleading (APP 13);

request deletion of your information;

withdraw your consent at any time by
unsubscribing.

act. We will respond within a reasonable period,
usually 30 days.
10. Complaints
If you believe we have breached the APPs, email

with the details and we will investigate and
respond, usually within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you
